Fanny's got a Master's Degree in Economics and got the famous & very challenging professional french diploma DEC (Diplôme d'Expertise Comptable) which gives her the legal right to work as "Expert-Comptable" and "Commissaire aux Comptes" in France (Account Certification thanks to her DEC, the only diploma that allows the practice of functions as an expert accountant and statutory auditor). She can perform legal and contractual audit of financial accounts, analysis of business processes, information management, and internal systems to assess risk and identify the opportunities of improvement. Presentation of recommendations to management. Supervision of the Audit Team. Preparation of the financial accounts. Preparation of forecast budgets. Assistance to firms in difficulty. At the beginning of her career, after few years of accoutancy on the field in a small firm, Fanny was recruited by the largest financial audit firm in France, Mazars in Lyon, the French equivalent of the Anglo-Saxon 'Big Four' KPMG, E&Y, Price, Deloitte. She started there as a member of an audit team but was quickly promoted to Audit Manager position to lead teams of auditors on assignments with major industrial and service groups across France, which then allowed her to easily secure positions as Finance Manager in the City of London and in Barcelona, or with large British, American, or European banks & groups such as Barclays, Iron Mountain/Recall, Revlon, or Job&Talent, with no less than 6-8 accountants under her responsibility, focusing on the most critical part of the finance/accountancy area of the company, the client side.

It should be noted that the General Director of Recall UK urgently appointed Fanny as HR Director, on top of her Finance Manager responsibilities, when the HR Manager of the London site was absent long-term for medical reasons. This demonstrates how much the Top Management of large groups like Iron Mountain/Recall recognizes Fanny's capability, adaptability, and maturity to take on HR management responsibilities without specific training or experience, according to the General Director himself, in a more ethical and effective manner than the previous HR director.

Moreover, Fanny, during her 5 years spent in the City of London at financial/banking institutions such as Barclays Bank (1st British Bank alongside HSBC, 3rd European bank) or at British sites of American and English multinationals like Recall/Iron Mountain (world leader in data management/collection/archiving) has acquired a perfect understanding of UK GAAP, giving her knowledge equivalent to the ACCA qualification. Interestingly, during her next 8 years in Spain (Barcelona, then Madrid in remote work), she only worked for British accounting within well-known American and European groups such as Revlon and Job&Talent, which allowed her to continue perfectly mastering UK GAAP.

Additionally, Fanny has good knowledge of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards). IFRS are a set of accounting rules used globally to standardize the way financial statements are prepared and presented. These standards aim to improve transparency, comparability, and consistency in financial reporting across different countries, facilitating better decision-making for investors and businesses. The standards are issued by the IFRS Foundation and the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB).
